Structure
While most wikis's have no inherent structure, ClearWiki has structured content, so wiki pages can
be
organised in a logical hierarchy just like the folders on your computer. As you create the hierarchy a
topographical sitemap is generated automatically.
Need an Intranet?
If you are a small to medium sized business, ClearWiki makes an ideal and cost effective
Intranet solution. You can create departments and teams, each with their own area of the Intranet,
and restrict access using our Access Control Lists. Departments can have their own home pages or
blogs as can your employees. What's more, your employees can access your Intranet at home as well as at work.
Search
ClearWiki's search engine is fast and powerful.
You can search across all your wiki content including inside documents that you have uploaded to the
wiki.
Furthermore, ClearWiki supports complex search queries using the terms AND, OR and NOT.

Knowledge Management
ClearWiki's features include a number of contemporary knowledge management techniques, including
labelling. Content items can be tagged with labels which are shared by all users of the
wiki and intuitively allow a network of information to be constructed. The
'label-cloud' allows you to see popular and commonly labelled items easily.
Safety
Your data is stored in a completely separate database to all other ClearWiki customers providing
you with extra security. A backup option lets you download an archive your wiki.
Optional SSL/HTTPS encryption gives your wiki the same level of encryption as typical internet banking
does.
While you are editing a page, a draft is automatically saved every 2
minutes. This stops you accidentally losing your data if you leave your desk or mistakenly close your
browser without saving first. You can also choose to save a draft yourself.
Flexibility
ClearWiki allows you to pay for only the features you need. You can add and reduce the number of users
you need when you need to, and can increase the the amount of storage you need when you need to at
